Community Amenities:

WRCA Sports Center – 4410 Wood River Drive

The sports center includes the main swimming pool and 2 baby pools. One is shaded, we also offer a splash pad and a tree covered picnic area with two BBQ pits. A sand “beach” volleyball area and horseshoe pit is also located at the complex.

The pool has been newly renovated as of the summer of 2024 and we look forward to additional renovations coming soon! The sports center is available for party rentals during the summer months only. The annual membership fee is set each year by the Board and is not a part of the annual assessment fee.

The Association office is also housed at the sports center & summer office schedule is as follows: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday!

Playgrounds and Parks

The Association owns and maintains the following playgrounds and parks in the subdivision.

Little People’s Park -4420 Clear Fork Drive. This park includes playground equipment and swings as well as shaded benches and a picnic table.

Triangle Park – 4220 Clear Fork Drive. This location includes a half court size basketball court as well as swings and a climber. There is also a shaded picnic table and water fountain at this park.

Entrance Park -4022 Wood River Drive. This green-space park area houses the “Wood River” entrance sign.

Hike and Bike Trails 

Approximately seven miles of hike and bike trails are woven throughout the entire subdivision. The sidewalks can be used for walking, running, bike riding and dog walking. Motorized vehicles are not permitted on the trails by any means.

The cost of upkeep and improvements of these parks, trails and the sports center are funded by the Wood River Community Association’s members as a part of their annual assessment. In addition, income from the sports center membership fees, party rentals and other events contribute to the pool operations and maintenance.
